The rules of the site.

breedables.pet is the site of a breedable creatures project for Second Life. Today it exists to introduce the project, explain how the genetics works and show what is in production.

There is no shop open, no user account, no form and nothing sold here at this time. When that changes, these terms are updated first.

These pages describe a project under development. Numbers, creature names, traits and what each collection will include can change up until launch.

Nothing written here is a promise of delivery, of a date or of a price. The future collection pages say explicitly what is already decided and what is still open, precisely so that intent is not mistaken for commitment.

The texts, illustrations, page design and code of this site belong to breedables.pet. So do the genetics system, the creature names and the traits described.

You may read, comment, share the address and quote passages with attribution. Copying the content to publish as your own, or using the art and names in another product, you may not.

Second Life is a registered trademark of Linden Research, Inc. This project is made by third parties and has no affiliation with, sponsorship from or endorsement by Linden Lab.

The creatures, once they exist, will be virtual items inside Second Life and therefore also subject to the platform's rules. Nothing here replaces Linden Lab's terms.

This site is open and requires no sign up. What we ask is what is reasonable to keep a small server running:

• Do not try to take down, break into or overload the server.
• Do not scrape the site at a volume that gets in other people's way.
• Do not reproduce the whole site at another address, passing it off as this one.

The site is offered as it is. It runs on a small server of our own, and it can go offline for maintenance, for a power cut or for a hardware failure, without notice.

We do our best to keep the information correct, but we do not guarantee it is complete or up to date at every moment. Decisions made based on what is written here belong to whoever makes them.

As soon as the shop opens, separate terms come in for purchase, delivery, refunds and use of the items. They do not exist today because there would be nothing for them to govern.

Until then, nothing is charged and no offer made outside this site in the project's name should be treated as legitimate.

These terms may be revised as the project moves along. The update date at the top indicates the version in force.
